So, I did a gem update rails today… Yes, Rails 1.0 has been officially released (along with a shiny new Ruby On Rails web site)! Ok, so, it’s pretty much a marketing, feel-good thing. (Aside from a few bug fixes, the core functionality of 1.0 has been in Rails for a while.)

And, as today is official Microsoft-bashing day, I’ll stick my jab in there as well.

No, I didn’t have to uninstall Ruby on Rails 2005 Beta 2 CTP RC1 in order to install Ruby on Rails 2006 Vista SP1. :)
