Ah, one line of code has never made me happier. Last month, I needed an easy way to get the first day of a quarter based on a Time object, and challenged Jeff to write it in one line of code. Well, he did. And we created a patch. And now it’s part of Rails 1.1! Ok, it’s not rocket science by any stretch, but we’re proud of it.

Saw it mentioned on Scott Raymond’s list of What’s New In Rails 1.1 too. So excited. My wife is right, I am a geek.
