Softies coming to RailsConf 2007? 6
If you're coming to RailsConf in Portland this year, and want to talk some Ruby, Rails, or .NET, or just say hello, come find me! The photograph of the dumb-looking guy below is, well, me.

Perhaps we can create a miniature Softies Convention during one of the meal times, perhaps lunch on Saturday? Leave a comment below if you're coming and I'll try to meet up with you.
You can also try to email me: jeff [at] luckymonk [dot] com (and hopefully the internet connection at the conference will allow us all to be checking our email.)
I've also posted my RailsConf schedule at http://www.myconfplan.com/users/jeff/conferences/RailsConf2007, in case that helps us (I'll probably keep changing my choices, so check it once in a while).
And if you still can't find me, just look around for the only guy with a new 13-inch white MacBook that still can't figure out how to take a good picture with PhotoBooth (snap dang! snap rats! snap wait, ok snap dang!...)

It would be cool if you could get together with John Lam http://www.iunknown.com/ and tell us more about using Microsoft resources (.NET, silverlight...) combined with our favorite language (Ruby) all of that in our favorite platform (OSX) :)
See you in Portland
This blog has been quite helpful. I'd love to meet and talk some .NET. I'm still using it for a lot things.
I'll be around. http://www.myconfplan.com/users/ffmike/conferences/RailsConf2007 has my plans. I'll be lugging two laptops, for reasons two tedious to explain. Hopefully only the MacBook Pro will be running during the sessions, and I can banish the Windows box to use in the hotel room at night when I have to do Larkware updates.
Yes, let's figure out how to meet up. Our corporate Rails site has a big rails frontend talking to a big .Net services tier. We should have submitted as speakers :)
"still can't figure out how to take a good picture with PhotoBooth (snap dang! snap rats! snap wait, ok snap dang!...)"
... I thought that was only me!
Thanks for the laugh!
Bummer I missed you. Maybe next time.
